Description
Railay East - It is one side of the Railey peninsula that has no sandy beaches and is more of a mangrove swamp with local fishing boats and pier for boarding a long-tail taxi boat to Krabi Town. Definitely, isn't appealing for swimming. There're a few hotels, restaurants, and shops, and that would be the importance of this side. However, it is just a short walk from the other, one of the best-known beaches in Krabi Province, and it is the west side. The impressive path at the base of cliffs is bordered by caves and stalactites and opens challenging track that leads to the mysterious Hidden Princess Lagoon (Sa Phra Nang) which is very difficult to access due to the very steep and muddy path. Therefore, didn't have a chance to visit it, yet.
