Playa Bucerias is an 8 km stretch of beach on the Bay of Banderas, about a half an hour north of Puerto Vallarta.
Golden beach, coconut palms, impressive Pacific sunset, and unique views of the whole of Banderas Bay.
The water can sometimes be really clam, excellent for relax swimming, SUPing, kayaking, but on windy days, be ready for more active sports such as kitesurfing, especially on the northern end of the beach.
One part of the beach has many restaurants, beach bars, and other fun activities for visitors of all ages, including horseback riding, which is spectacular in the evenings, but there are also calm sections you can enjoy tranquility and beauty that offers.
