Olas Altas beach is one of the beaches on the Pacific side of Mexico. It starts somewhere around the famous Monumento El Caballito, passes next to the most impressive monument in Puerto Vallarta, Los Arcos: then crosses the mouth of the river Rio Cuale and goes to the adjacent beach, Playa de Los Muertos,. All the way the romantic promenade Malecon, you can find the collection of many other artistic sculptures, plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, artists, etc.

The name Olas Altas Beach means "High waves beach" it is a combination of sand and pebbles all the way the coast. It doesn't attract many sunbathers, but those who will say goodbye for a day to the last rays of the spectacular colorful sunset.
